Curt is incredible at his work and a joy to work with. Called with a cracked bent rim and he had me back on the road in just a couple hours. Car drive smooth at highway speeds post repair. Very punctual and reasonable priced. Highly recommend!

I co own a small family business which provides emergency services. Our primary service truck was heading to a customer one morning, driving down a narrow backroad and was forced off the side of the road by an on coming vehicle that wouldn’t move over and with the driver’s luck, the rear outside wheel of the heavy dual wheel truck hit a rock sticking out of the ground and instantly the tire was flat. The driver set us a picture of the damage and it was bent right off of the bead of the tire. He was close to the job, so I told him to get the job done and we’ll figure out what to do in the meantime. I searched junkyards for used rims and I even called the dealerships for a price on this large aluminum wheel and they wanted over $1,900. My partner was searching the internet and came upon Kurt with Wheel Repair Service of New England. He was gracious enough to give us his cell phone number and told us to send him the picture of the damaged wheel. He looked at the picture and gave us a 50% chance of a successful repair because it’s hard to really judge the damage from a picture. Called a few days ago and prompt answer. Set appointment with Curt for 9:30 am, I showed up early and he did as well. He briefed me on the process and then work began. It is a few hour process but I saw some of his work and perfection is the best way to describe it. I am a former auto dealer and in my 40 years as a dealer I have not seen wheel repair done to this type of quality. Old school guy Curt only accepts one standard and that is excellence through and through. Worth the trip here and well worth the wait. Sat in the subway had a sandwich and drink and just relaxed as they worked on the wheel. The picture says it all. Outstanding work great customer service and one satisfied customer.

Earlier this year I was in a jam. I was getting married but one of the wire wheels on my 1956 Dodge was damaged. I brought it to Fred and Kurt and they fixed the wheel and mounted a tire on it for me in the most professional manner, and very quickly at that. The car was ready for my wedding! Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about Wheel Repair Service and its owner, Kurt!!!! After hitting a wicked pothole with my vehicle, that was only 8 months old from brand new, at the time, I discovered I had bent the rim on the front passenger side. Three separate “rim repair” shops and a Goodyear Tire Service shop all said the rim could not be fixed and purchasing a brand new rim was the only action I could take. When the dealership wanted $1300. for a new replacement rim, I decided to try one more time and do another search for a repair shop. That’s when I luckily found Wheel Repair Service in Auburn. I called and spoke with the owner, Kurt, who looked at my bent rim just a 1/2 hour later. A day after that, my bent rim was repaired & ready to be picked up…saving me $1100. from the cost of a new replacement rim at the dealership. After hearing from four other places that the bent rim could not be repaired at all, Wheel Repair repaired the bent rim perfectly with no issues!
